my 87 5 speed se is in serious need of replacement motor mounts. any help out there in locating a complete set that won't break my bank?

 

Well, here is the deal. I have the rear engine mount. Its polyurethane filled. You would have to install this yourself because a shop will look at you funny if you ask them to install this one. I got this from max88q, which in turn got it from nismo87se. As for the other mounts. The front engine mount (I just got it, and it's now installed) I got from courtesy nissan. They sell that mount for about 167.05 shipped. You have to make note that you are an maxima.org member. They can also get the other 2 tranny mounts for you but I dunno how much. I need to replace my front tranny mount because when my front engine mount was bad, it was twisting a lot, and now it's missing a bolt. :P Fortunately its still holding up good according to my mechanic. I'm going to see if I can find another 5-speed tranny mount at the junkyard. That is also your best bet if you don't want to spend too much money. Check local junkyards and besure you find the mounts for the 5-speed. The automatics have different mounts.
