ok...probally another stupid question

i've got leather seats in my maxima and i was wondering...do they make seat covers specificly for my year maxima?...or are there some seat covers that fit better than others?

i'm tired of gettin in and burning my ***...its like sitting on a frying-pan

No one makes seat covers for our cars. You could try the general purpose ones that they sell at auto parts stores and Wal-Mart. However it probably won't be a perfect fit.

Alternatively, you could go to a junkyard and pick up some cloth seats. Good luck finding some in good condition though. The only other route would be to reupholster your seats, but that would be very expensive and I'd only recommend doing that if you're planning on restoring the car.

I personally like leather seats. I had them in my BMW 325i. I used that window shade thing that you put up against the windshield to keep the sunlight off the seats. It worked fairly well, so you might want to try that route if that's the only reason that you don't like the leather upholstery. Or you could throw a white towel down on the seat, that should work alright too.
