Any easy way of replacing the rear engine mount?
the Rear engine mount (between the firewall and the engine) on my 88 Maxima SE got tired (and soaked with oil from oil leak from under the valvecover), I decided to replace it.
I purchased one at a local OEN parts dealer ($50) and was going to do the job last weekend, when I realized, that I can't reach it from under the car if I have the engine supported with a hydraulic floorjack from underneath and that takes all the place away where I could be laying on the rolling cart.
The point is to hold the engine by something while I replace the engine mount with a new one.
(I don't have a shop or garage, but I do have a hydraulic floorjack and 4 jackstands.
The mount is held by only 3 bolts, 2 on the bottom, one on the top.
Does someone know an easy way?
It would be nice to have a tool (if it exists at all, that could hold the engine from above on a chain or steel wire while I am working under the engine.

Support your engine with a block of wood and a jack under the oil pan, release the bolts which hold the under carriage support, take out the one bolt for both the front and rear supports (which connect the enginge mounts to the block brackets) and drop the carriage support with the two two engine mounts still attached, then change the rear engine mount and slide everything back up into place. Done it many, many times, works slick!!!
Hope that made sense.
