Rear ended and written off

Oh well, I was rear ended on the highway today by a Chevy 1500 pick up loaded with dirt in the bed. Considering my Max is 15yrs old and somewhat rusty, it stood up amazingly well. I mean the trunk won't hold more than a golf bag now, and the bumper was pushed into the rear wheels but there was no intrusion to the passenger compartment. Anyway, I'm sure the insurance company will write it off and give me a cheque for some piddling amount...too bad really as everything ran perfectly on the car including the A/C. Anyhow, hopefully I can now start perusing the 4th gen board, as I have my eye set on a 98 or 99 ES (or maybe an SE).

Cheers.

If your gonna get a 4th gen, get a 97 or 98...they seem to be the best. 99's had some wierd emissions thing's done to them, and they can't use some of the same mods as the rest of the 4th gens. If you can, go for the SE's, go for it.
