wheres the trany fill plug on a pre 92 5spd. did a 5speed swap with a 87 tranny on my 91 gxe and i cant find the fill plug. tried using the search but got nothing thanks.

 

The fill plug should be on the front facing side of the tranny (radiator side), relatively close to the front tranny mount The plug has a place to stick a 1/2" rachet square drive in so you can remove. It should be basically the same place to fill as the 92 and newer (considering the tranny is the same from 85-01...with exception to the different starter locations and LSD on some models). If you still can't find it, let me know, I'll try to get a pic for ya.
