I have a 1987 Maxima with GOOD parts
Greetings
I have a 1987 Max which is mechanically solid. As it has spent most of it's life in Minnesota, the lower areas on the body are rusty. It has 120K on it and the motor does not use any oil. It has been taken care of by a local Nissan dealer. I have a spreadsheet of ALL of the maintenance that has been performed on the car since we bought it at 52K. On 9/22/03 I replaced the exhaust y pipes etc to the tune of $400.00. The care still runs and accelerates very well. It is driveable, but at this point I would like to sell it as a parts car. There are a lot of good parts on this car. At 118K the front rotors, calipers and brakes were done. As I said, I have a folder of all of the maintenance. Other than a bump in the rear which broke the tailight lense (which was replaced with a new unit) it has not been in an accident. If interested, please email me at Larry.Harvey@earthlink.net.
