Electrical problems...

Ok, the biggest issue seems to be in the electrical system...nothing in the dash, except headlights, is getting any power. none of the switches, etc...nothing...when measured with a multimeter, all of the fuses, and allof the connections measure a paltry .8 Volts...but everything else is getting power...the headlights and tail lights work, etc...the turn signals do not, the wipers and pump do not, the mirrors don't, ditto for cruise...when i start the beast, non of the idiot lights come on, and absolutely none of the guages work...

I have checked all the vacuum lines, etc...and electrical connections under the hood and the dash, and all are good, and sound.

Is it possible that something happened to the ECU? Any ideas on how much of this is passed through the ECU? Would anyone have a spare for an auto car laying around that they'd sell for cheap? If the ECU is dead, maybe this would be the time to try a Z31 ECU upgrade, and see what it does...

Any help is greatly appreciated...I love my wagon, and want it back on the road...ARGH!

Hmmm, time to start checking all your relays, and checking the ECU. If the other stuff is only getting .8 volts, something is has to be up with that. The lights get thier power seperate of the dash stuff, so that's why they are probably working. There could also be something up with your charging system that could be causing it. I would also check the fusible links to make sure you didn't blow one or more of those. That's what I can think of at the moment.
