Tires...

For those that remember, I posed the question about tires myself, a few months ago...

Well, I finally got my tires ordered and mounted...and what a world of difference...

I opted for the Falken Ziex ZE512's...good lord, I'm impressed...

With the crap tires that were on the car, as well as every other tire I've had on it, it was EASY to get scratch from a standing start...these tires do not slip...the most i've gotten was on a wet, slippery patch of cement, and it was a gentle bark, then it pulled...

They get great grip on the roads here when wet, too. This is impressive, as they use the cheapest tar-base asphalt for the roads, so with even a little standing water, the oils in from the tar raise to the surface, and float...making wet pavement almost as trecherous as roads covered with black ice...

So, for anyone in the market, I fully endorse these tires....
