hope to be getting back into the maxima picture

... just because I drive a honda doesn't mean I'm changing my religion to riceburnerism. and if I do, I give everyone, especially maximase86 full permission to come to my house in the middle of the night with torches, and hang me from a tree. as soon as I'm a little more financially prepared to put gas into a V6 engine and money into a second generation maxima, I'm sellin this accord and gettin one. then I'm takin' her to the circuit, lining up with some kid in a honda who has a chick with him, and puttin him to shame and makin him look like an a**, kinda like I did when I had my 88. man, I beat that poor thing to no end. but for now, the accord will do fine getting a little over 400 miles to the tank. it has everything I need right now, 4 good tires, an engine, and the little thing between the seats that says "1-2 3-4 5-R". I'm thinking maybe an 87 or 88 SE, instead of the GXE, only because I like the sportier look with the spoiler and body-colored trim and door handles, and the 5-speed transmission. I'm not gonna subject myself to the endless automatic transmission problems everyone else here was plaged with! sorry, but I learn from others' mistakes. I live near the city, so finding a maxima shouldn't be too hard. they seem to be a common choice among the retired community and the city boys

Cool, glad to hear your getting back into a Max. Though may I make one suggestion. If you have the money, I would try for a 92 SE or newer if you can. You won't be let down if you go that route. Either way, can't wait to see new pics of the new maxima.

my cousin used to have a 91 max a few years back, but I failed to realize the value cos I was still in high school, cruisin around in my 89 sentra. I think the water pump died, I don't know where that car is now...

Well, the reason to my suggestion is the VE. They are one helluva ride!
