its not super hard but its not that easy either....all the rear suspension is hooked to the strut....also the rear seat/back/and rear deck have to come out to access the top of the strut, it took me a few hours to do each side....I just did all struts on my 87se so if you have any questions I am fresh off of an install, though I am still working some bugs out.

Yeah, it isn't superhard to do the rear suspension, but it is indeed time consuming. The front is cake, just be sure you pay attention to how all the parts go back however.

also if you do it, make sure you get a 'strut spring compressor', dont do what I did and first get a normal 'coil spring compressor'(it does not work)....I was able to pick up one at Auto Zone on there borrow a tool program.

If you are looking for a set of cheap replacements I have some here I will sell really cheap. All you will need to do is get a new gland packing nut to put on top.

Yeah the front is eaxy..the rear is a little bit of a pain. My wagon had broken strut cartridges. So I had to clean them out. For the rear u buy strut cartridges , not the whole strut. Make sure u get the ones that have lifetime warranty. That way when they wear down due to regular wear../well the replacement is free. I have lifetime warranty of my fronts..so far I gotten 1 free already..a year after getting the new ones :P (blindness to speedbumps)
