Hello everyone, newbie here. Was doing some research on the Diesel engine. Does anyone know the correct specifications, regarding horsepower and torque for this engine? I have seen that it has been listed at 80hp and 120 pd ft torque. Surely this can't be right. I know that diesels have less horsepower than gasoline engines, but they make up for it in torque. If the figures for the LD28 are true, why does it have less torque than the 2.4. Thanks for your help

 

It is an old diesel design, and is not turbo... so it puts out little torque and power. Those numbers are correct.
