For those who don't know I sold my 87SE to my dad and he gave it to my brother. Since my brother has had it he has gotten in one little wreck that did minor front drivers side corner damage. Thats not the big problem. The big problem is that the oil pump went out and my brother (knows nothing about cars) was wondering why the car sounding like a very loud sewing machine. Anyway my dad is paying someone to put a new (123k) motor in the car this weekend. Just a little update, its still around and still modded

 

Wow, man. I dont know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Because, well... its getting a newer motor but it was in an accident. Glad it is still around though.

run the motor with no oil and you will know what I am talking about (please dont really do this)

the oil pan gasket is replaced, I just need to put the cross member back in the car and bolt up the motor mounts, and then I will give an update on how the car is doing. I will be working on it this evening.

 

How much did the oil pump run? I'm pretty much due for one.
