Right now it has approx. 84,000 orig. miles. Ive been into imports for a couple years and really am trying hard with this car... So far I have just crappy exaust. just have a Hooker AeroChamber muffler and 4 1/2 inch BroSpeed Tip. I have APC Side Markers and bright blue head lights...mods under the hood...nothing....took off the rubber connector piece from the air box to the fender well to get a couple extra horse...Is there such thing as a cold air intake systmem for this car??? Im trying to find anything possible and will pay money for someone to make if its not available this is a big project car...next things on my list....Xenon Body Kit unless i can find a better one which is doubtfull, some rims, custom cat back exaust.and anything else i can think of....and is it possible to take a turbo from that year 300zx???? and make it work right???? i need help!!

Yes, you can do that. The 84-87 300zx's had Garrett t3 turbos. Don't get one from an 84-85 because they are not water cooled. Do not get one from an 88-89 because they are smaller t25 turbos.
You will need the 300zx injectors, ECU, manifolds, intake pipe and more..
Your best bet is to go to z31.com and read up on how some of the nonturbo 300zx guys have converted over to a turbo.
Actually, there's an 87 Maxima with turbo advertised in my local paper (Knoxville, TN). It's wrecked, but they say the engine is good and so is the turbo. I think they want less than $1000
