The 2nd Gen King is back in business...

My car is back. You must all now bow to me.

Anyway, got the beam in today. Have a few vacuum leaks to fix, but the car is running smooth. I think the altenator is undercharging at idle, but probably from my UDP. My CAI is missing bolts now, so that has to be fixed, and I have to put in new axles which are sitting right beside me. I will get some pics of the car.

First order of business. Jeff92se BBK. I have Z32 calipers, brackets, and hubcentric rings. I need to get some SS lines, pads and hardware, and some 15mm spacers it looks like (so much for my that perfect fit look). I have 13" Cobra rotors that will be arriving soon. I need to finish getting parts for the turbo kit. If I get lucky, I might be rolling this summer with 8psi.

I'll be fine at 8psi on stock internals....infact I should be good to go to about 14psi before I have to really think about internals. E-Dog, when you gonna hook a brother up with some projectors?

What's your compression stock? If it's ~8:1 you should be fine at 14 psi, if that T3 can handle it (I'm not well-versed in T3 capabilties). If your compression is high though you can always go with alcohol/methanol injection.

9:1 I believe. I've had experience pushing a VQ30 at 12-14psi on stock internals on 10:1 compression. So I don't think it'll be too much of a problem. Then again, I'm not going to push 14psi off the bat. I think the T3 looses most of it's efficiency after 10psi and just turns into a heat pump anyway. 8psi is fairly conservative/safe.

Good to see the car is back on the road.

It's a battle scar dude! You know, pay to play...just happen to be that I had to pay a fender.

Actually it's my way of playing an optical trick on your eyes......well no it isn't... wall > fender.

Yeah I believe you are correct on the 10psi thing with your turbo. That thing is a pea shooter, but it will get the job done. 8psi will feel like a completely different car.

If fitment for the bbk becomes a problem, you might want to try some J30/Q45 calipers. Won't have that bling value though

Aye, I'm really contemplating it. Jason has a set of 20mm spacers that I'm going to try out. The big issue is my wheels are perfect now, even 5mm spacers would throw that off. If it doesn't work, I'll run the setup with my stock calipers until I get Q45 ones. I'm not too worried about the bling...my rotors came in, those huge things are bling enough...I'm all about the functionality.

why are you going to go 20 mm first?? I thought the TSWs had pretty good space in there. I hope there is no rubbing issues

Finally, it is alive!!! Glad to see it back up again. I was wondering when you were going to get that thing fixed.
