Recently I have been noticing that the water in my radiator gets a rusty color a few days after I put it in. I did 2 radiator, and coolant system flushes already, but it keeps coming back. Another problem I have is that the fluid level slowly gets lower and lower, enough so that every few weeks I pretty much have to refill most of the water in the radiator. There are no leaks in the coolant hoses anywhere in the engine bay, or anywhere else. I am just wondering if the latter is tied to the former. Any ideas?

The rust points to a radiator problem. Maybe you have a small hole in it somewhere. It take a closer look at it. If all else fails, drain out all the fluid and pressure test it.

How does your oil look. Does it look chocolate shake like? I agree with Tyler on the radiator. You're definately leaking coolant somewhere, or boiling it off to the atmoshpere somehow.

Sarin: I suspect it is somehow boiling off the water, because me and my dad have checked as many lines as we could see (water pump is new, so didn't check that) and we saw no leaks, whether the car was on or it was off.
How does your oil look? Is there the smell of antifreeze in the car?
It's either boil-off or it's leaking thru the head gasket. The coolant has to go somewhere. You should do a pressure test of the cooling system.

i need to change my radiator tank to man the radiator got a good leak on it, and my powersteering has a rusty watery mixture to it... damn!
