Wheel Studs

hey everyone, i got a problem, i stopped to put gas in my maxima last night and pulled out of the station and made a sharp right turn, the car made some really weird noises once i started driving coming from the right front wheel.so i turned off onto a side street to my left and BAM the right front tire came clean off the car. all four wheel studs broke clean off. the fender is pretty banged up as well but the brake rotor and everything is still in place. any ideas as to what might have happned. it just seems a llittle bit strange to me

I used to have trouble with my first Max ('87) where the lug nuts just wouldn't stay tight on one wheel and they'd back out. I'd be going down the road and hear this "wump wump wump" when I made a turn, then I'd pull over and get out the T-wrench. I don't remember what I did to stop it, but I know LocTite is not really an option here. Maybe some new lug nuts...well, you don't have much of a choice now. Good luck.
