Green fusable link

Well under the hood of my 1987 maxima , one of the main fuseable links keeps on blowing.... Its the green one , does any one know what that is for and how many amps its sopost to be ?

Because every time i replace it with a 30 amp one from advance auto it blows shortly after.....

And when i bought the car it dident come with the little cover thats sopost to go over it...

Any help here?

if it's the one right next to the battery, on my '87 it's for the ignition switch circuit, but it doesn't say how many amps it's rated for. green is usually 30 though i think

yep ignition switch i knew it was for that...

Wonder why it keeps on blowing...

some time it takes a while to blow other times it will blow when i press the clutch down and last night it blew going up a hill...

Im tired of ****ing with it so i got it towed to a mechanics shop..

Hmmm, green is usually the cooling fans I thought. The auxilary fan runs off of that link. It should be a 30 amp fusible link.
