You should do the front lip! That would look awsome!

What kinda CF did you get? CF cloth?

Right now im modifying my Z31 front bumper with fiberglass, and possibly a nice layer of CF on the top.

I have a roll of the twill weave 6' wide by 24' long... expensive sh!7

(lol, i thought of that instantly.. after seeing the Maxima.org home page forever... since it hasnt changed in a long time!!)

I can probably get one from my buddy at Nissan parts down here... he can get alot of stuff... I got side skirts for my 87 S12 from him, and Z31 mirriors, even silvia fenders. I can see if he can find one hiding in some warehouse.

Hey, you still got those intercooler pipes and stuff? hit me up with a PM and I can see about shipping.

Nice job with the lights. Do the HID bulbs work well with the original glass?

hmm.... all i really need for pipes is a decently long piece, and a slight bend..
Just let me know what you have left over.

It's nice to keep the BOV as close to the turbo as possible, mine is right after the turbo.

You could do your mirrors in CF.

tried that but it didnt work out too well

ok heres the most of the pipes that i have left...

the one with the slight bend is 2 feet long

the straight one is about 1 foot and 6 inches long

the straight with the bend on it is about 1.5 feet long

the cornet (90") is bout' 7 inches long

the small straight is about 8 inches long

and there is an elbow from a saab 9000 which turns 2.5 size of the piping) into 2.75 (size of the throttlebody)

i would reccomend paintthem with a high temp paint lots of scratches

Alot of that stuff looks like it would work really well. Right now I have the most ghetto setup ever... 2" black ABS pipe, with rubber fittings (the rubber fittings sold at home depot work quite well, and much cheaper than ones designed for cars, but that ABS pipe is horrible.

I really need to figure out something with my IC, cause it's from a SR20DET JDM Silvia, so it's got the stock 2" inlets and outlets on it. I was thinking of picking up a DSM SMIC, they are about 2" thicker than this S13 one.

I'd probably powder coat it all in Candy Red to match my other stuff.

So how much do you want for the shipping?

sorry for taking so long to respond. They do OK, but I would recommend switching it out with Lexan(which is clear). The original fluted glass messes up the cutoff a bit. I don't come to the 2nd gen boards that much since I got my 5th gen.

btw big_E, good job with the carbon fiber

u guys wanna kno what tho
this crap is hard as heck to deal with itl conform then as the resin dries itl unconform a lil which is just enough to throw it off iwl maybee a lil better with thinner stuff

redone headlamp pic in this one i used the lexan ... you can see where it leaves gaps because if its flatness compared to the glass which is conformed to the front shape..

its nice to see that some people are still modding their 2nd gens, sadly mine is out for the count and I have stripped all the parts that I can use for my new baby. It is still hard letting the ole girl go, but it was nickeling and diming me to death.

I got mine for the sole purpose of making it look good. I could have gone to the dealer and gotten a new car, but there is no fun in that.

P.S. the headlights look sweet.

ha ha, Im glad Florida stopped checking emissions, mine would pass but if it is 20 years old you could get a collectors plate and in florida it would have allowed it on the road without emissions checking.... not sure of Cali laws....

Hey;
Is there any reflection off street signs at night? The thing is that with the height of some signs you may not see them until youre right on top of them, just wondering before I decide to do that or just go the halogen route with the original lamps and glass
