hi i recently bought an 87 maxima, its an automatic, V6(i believe) and i was looking for some information about the car, such as horsepower, torque, miles per gallon, and other thing like that any info would be most appreciated. thanks.

 

i believe the horsepower is 157@5800 rpm factory. MPG should be in the mid 20's or so. There is not a whole lot of aftermarket parts for this car so you will have to look around to get much. The major weak points in the car are the transmission, power windows, and the power antenna.

 

The car is rated at 152hp@5200rpm/168lb-ft@3600. According to my old window sticker the MPG for the auto is 19/24 for city/highway. I average around 21-23mpg which is around 230-275 miles with 1/4 tank left. There was a website for our cars but I can't find it now .
