4 or 6

i own a '92, and was just curious...do the 1st have a 4 or 6 clylinder??

You have a V6 if you have a 1992 maxima se or gxe/gle.

i know what i have....what i meant to say so the 1st GENERATIONS have a 4 or 6 cylinder..lol my bad...why would i post a thread in the 1st gen forum if i had a question bout my car??...lol!!

All the maximas that were considered a maxima had a 6 clyinder. The early 810s had a L24 or L26 2.4 or 2.6 liter engines(I can't remember which) All the L series were straight 6 engines.

Well not really. All the mods that are available for the 240z,260z and 280z/zx and zx turbo applies to the 810 maxima also.

If this a reference to straight sixes in general. Well the BMW M3 puts out over 300hp na and it's a straight 6. 3.2 liters though.
