getting rid of the MAX

I havent been on in quite some time, thats because I was t boned and the max got wrecked. It would have cost too much to fix and Im getting rid of it, either in part or whole.

You can see pics at:
http://lcnhome.com/maxima/maxima.htm

Gonna put it up for sale if anyone wants it for parts

The engine has 85k original miles and its a 5 speed stick.

You can drive it away.

All of the damage has been to the right side, all of the other stuff still works like a charm.

My mind being in a perpetual fog, I can't tell what year it is by looking at the front end. IF it's an 87 or 88, I'll take the headlights, both of them. PM sent.

its the front lower part behind the fog lamps. it is removed by a bracket with 3 studs on each side and 2 mounting brackets. plus a series of bilts on the front under side. check the screws first if they look octagonial in any way then thell be easy to get off with a 17mm socket. if not try it with a screw driver they might not come off if not oh well ill take the roof spoiler.

Fatty Matty , PM sent
Big E, When I get home from work it'll be too dark to see, so I'll check it out on Sat and post if I can get it off for ya.
Niku Sama , interestingly enough only the rear needed spacers and I had to roll the fenders so they wouldnt rub, other than that they fit pretty nicely.
While I had em on I would do 90 mph comfortably as if I was doing 65 mph. Light Rims are better on your brakes and the tires grip the heck out of the road helps too!

The headlights are relatively easy. pop the grill, bolts on the bottoms of the headlight buckets, take off the side marker/turn lights and there are small bolts there, then the bolts on top of the buckets (headlight mounts). Just don't take the headlights out of the buckets, ever. That's how bad things happen.
