Oil pressure problem - Need advices. Please help.
My Maxima 85 has a weird problem. When the engine is warm and running above 2000rpm, the oil pressure handle goes down to 0. Usually, it goes back up when I slow down. Sometimes, when I keep maintaining the speed (around 70 mph), the handle goes up and stay for awhile. I checked the engine oil level. The engine has no leak. This problem really annoys me since I dont know what causes the problem and how to fix it. Does anyone has the same problem or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

It could just simply be a bad sending unit for the guage, or possibly a short in the circuit.Short of that, it'd be a bad oil pump, but since the engine hasn't seized yet, I'd say that's not the problem...
