need wiring diagram for 84 maxima
need wiring diagram for 84 maxima
wondering if anybody who has fsm or something similar could scan a page with the wiring diagram. I'm mainly trying to find information about the wire bundle that comes through passenger side of the firewall, it has headlight connectors and also goes to the relay box.
hmm.. i gues it would be the main harness, it is the harness that runs from the interior of the car to the engine bay through passenger side. It connects to the relays in the engine bay and also has a plug to connect to the ecm harness. I traced what some of those wires go to, but the main thing really that i need to figure out the rest is to know the wiring going to the relays.
This is what i am dealing with right now, i just trying to separate the wires that would go to the gauges, starter and main power.

Have FSM, but actual bible may be of greater utility
I've been PO'd with my 84 on numerous occasions, but never resorted to disembowelling the electrical system!
What prompted such extensive disassembly?
I'll try to get something to you tomorrow.

i got rid off l24e a little while ago when it was having some issues and didn't want to put another one in. Now i am trying to get rid of the wiring not needed and trace out wires for ignition, sensors, fuel pump, main power
Please message me your email particulars and I'll fire off a PDF file of the basic wiring info for the ignition, starting, charging, and lighting systems. (it's about 22 MB)
Since you are replacing the entire motor with something different, the sensors, air flow, engine control, fuel pump requirements will all be different. I can not imagine that you will not have to transplant an entirely new and complete engine wiring harness.
