How to remove rear seat 82 maxima sedan?

How to remove rear seat 82 maxima sedan?

I give...I cannot figure out how to remove the lower rear seat...

most cars theres 2 U-clips that hold it down from the lower cushion to the bottom of the car. a good tug usually lets them go

Try pulling up on the front and put your hand down between the seat and back by the seatbelts and feel around for an 8mm bolt. If it's anything like the 3rd gens there will be one bolt on either side.

Just had mine out and back in several times recently and don't remember any bolts for the lower. The bolts are for the upper. Just pull up (forcibly) under the front of the seat, and then pull fwd and up and out.

Got it out

It was tabs under the front edge of the seat, that needed alot of pressure to get the clips released. Thanks all for the pointers.
