Really crappy cold start.

This area's been dead lately. Still got my Maxima, nothing really to report. But Im still looking for a replacement car. Somethign a lot more solid. Still driving mine though.

I bought the car last year July, and really had no issues with it. In December, the Transmission took a **** and locked up. So in the middle of the trans swap, it was primetime to delete the emission valves and the air box.

I did a short ram and emission valve delete. When I got the car running, it wouldnt idle on its own when you first start it. Youd have to give it some gas and keep your foot on the pedal for a little bit until it'll idle on its own. The car also would burn rich when cold. And to be honest, I feel like it burns a little rich when warm too. But its mostly noticable when cold.

The car did give me a issue like that once before I deleted the airbox and stuff when it got really cold one morning. But never again until I modified things.

Over the summer, I deleted the EGR setup thinking it would help. And nothing. I also installed a z31 ECU which kind of helped the idle. But nothing insanely worth mentioning.

I was doing some reading and it could be the CHTS. But I figured I'd ask if anyone else has any idea on what to look for. This car is driving me nuts sometimes given the work that I put into it, and it still feels like ****.

Why do I love these cars?! ugh
