My beautiful black 85 Max with 259,000 miles all of a sudden every warning light is staying on when it is running. Even the emergency brake light. What should I check?

 

It sounds like you have a bad sending unit. Once you locate it, you can test it by removing a wire and grounding it. If the lights are still on, then that's your problem.

[/QUOT I found out what the problem was and it was the alternator. A new one fixed the problem. It is funny because on all the other cars that I have owned only one light would come on when you have that problem.
