Hey guys, I'm restoring my 88' which is about to trip 100k with a

new exterior color and I'm going to dip it. Here's my progress on the job....

Sanding with 120 grit and a palm sander.....

Hi...Just wondering where you're at with the paint job... What color have you finally settled for? From your color choices, red is rarely seen on those maximas and would stand out nicely. A nice metallic deep brown might actually fit the car nicely too, and match the vintage look.

 

Well after about a month of repairing dents scratches, and dings, and waiting on good weather; Ifinally have a new paint job... I like it......baby got a new skirt and shoes! I got ri s from craigslist really cheap....here some more pics with the steps...

Very close. My distributor was out of PDS BLACK, so he upgraded me to 2 gals HaloEFX Gunmetal grey. I used two gals of PDS Kills Red, and then 225g. of Komodo pearls in 2gal of RAAIL clear.
