struts

Anyone know where I can possibly buy a pair of COMPLETE front struts,or at least the upper spring seats for a 2nd generation (87) sedan?Car is an SE, but converting to non-electronic struts.Spring seats are different.Much obliged.

It appears that Rock Auto has a nice selection for you …

Unfortunately not,on Rock Auto. They do not list(and I can't find anywhere) complete strut/spring assemblies.I already have the strut, but the car is an SE,and the upper spring seat is different. If you put it together with the SE spring seats, the steering tries to turn the strut indepedently from the strut upper mount.Drives me crazy.Makes all kinds of noises.

Based on the availability/unavailability of the full e-suspension specific assemblies you’re wanting, switching everything out to the non-e parts isn’t an option?

Although I can’t confirm the SE specific variants, I am finding a good selection of struts, mounts, bellows and all the bits and pieces available.

It’s the upper seats that are causing the issue?

there's a sticky on the forum about the electronic strut, they list what you need to change over to a regular strut since you use the springs just the strut hat is what need to be changed. If you ordered KYB strut on rock auto, or go KYB website they will tell you what you need for non electronic since I already done mine.
