??? for performance

i was wondering if anyone had any performance parts lists for my 88 maxima se. i am having a hard time finding anything for upgrades, etc for anything less than an 89. any help would be appreciated. oh and one more thing. do you think that the mas intake sold for an 89 could work on my 88? im getting the exhaus system built right now, and am willing to put roughly about $2000 into peformance parts and stuff, but need some pointers on where to start...mainly lookin for speed/power. i think the looks part will come later.

89+ MAF adapters won't work but there are places that sell universal nissan adapters. Find one that fits a 84-89 300zx. Modifications include, 60mm Throttle body from a 89-91 nissan 240sx or stanza, aftermarket high flow cats/catbacks, your going to have to make your own intake (check this site out http://groups.yahoo.com/group/second...nnissanmaxima/), Unorthodox racing did make an underdrive pulley, ISKY makes cams for us, protorque sells higher stall convertors for automatics (I have mine that is for sale email me if interested), Suspension mods are like addco rear sway bar, eibach or suspension tech springs.

throw a big bottle of NOS on it and if you tweak it right you will be in the 9s, no problem

Are you nuts? I'd recommend nothing over a 60hp shot for a VG30 engine, especially one with high mileage.

However, a re-enforced VG30ET would take a beating with a 125hp.
