for its time, the 1st gen Maxima was a great looking car. Back when I was 16 driving a 2 year old 1984 Maxima, people always commented on how nice the car was. Everyone thought it was a BMW, as it was fully loaded with leather, digital dash (not BMW'esque), it talked (most annoying characteristic), power everything, etc. Granted now its a very dated body style, but you still have to give the car credit where credit was due.

 

Jane's parents has a first gen, my neighbors have a 2nd gen, Jane's neighbors has a 3rd gen, Jane has a 4th gen, and I have a 5th gen. Kinda cool how I can see all the gens in one day.
