I have a K&N panel filter. I bought it for my Maxima a long time ago, then used it for my QX4. K&N Part No. 33-2031-2
Fits almost any Nissan, according to the cross reference. K&N reference list
$20 shipped.
I cleaned it about 5k miles ago, but it could use another cleaning.
I can add a picture, but I think you know what a K&N panel filter looks like.
