I bought a 93 FSM for $25 shipped. Includes VE and VG engine. You don't need a new one (+$75). Keep looking...they are available and you don't need to pay thru the nose.

By the way...I also bought a 98 FSM for $30. They are available and people who sell their old cars are happy to find any buyer.

obviously, since the VE was only 92-94, get a FSM that's 92-94. it'll include both engines. there are little differences from year to year, but i got 92 since we have 2 92's in the family. when i was looking, i saw more 93 FSM's than any other year, for some reason.

FYI i got mine for about $15 shipped and i got it fast. you just have to keep an eye out. don't be lazy and search "93 maxima FSM." just search "maxima service" or "maxima repair" and weed through all the listings. it won't help you, but there's a '91 on ebay right now for $5
