WTB: Brush connector off a NON-AIRBAG 3rd gen steering column.

Like the title says, I need a brush connector for the horn and such off a non airbag steering wheel. It's right begind the wheel, obviously. I'll need the brush mechanism and the wires up to the connector.

Shipping will be to 47906. Make an offer, I guess.

i think so...I've never seen it though. Anyone have a schematic of a non-airbag car's steering column??

All I think it that it would go behind the steering wheel. I have a hub adapter with a metal disk on the back, that I think should make contact with something so the horn sounds.... does that help at all??

I'd say take off the steering wheel and start taking pics.

Thats not what he's talking about. It's a black plastic thing. You have to pull the steering wheel off, then where the steering wheel connects is a black piece. I would show pictures, but I haven't taken the time to pull everything off. I'm going to take pictures next week monday probably, because I need to figure out how to cross reference a 93 wheel's wiring with my wiring. I know you were waiting on me traxtar, but I still haven't figured out what colors go with which.

I'm going to try to get pictures on Monday. Hell, if I can figure out how to cross the wires and FINALLY install that 93 wheel, I'll be happy to send out the brush connector.

I got the airbag steering wheel connector at a u-pick. Just get a a wheel puller, find a 3rd gen w/o airbags, and get the black plastic piece. It's screwed into the steering rack iirc.

There isn't even a u-pull-it within 15 miles of Lafayette, IN. I would if I could, my friend....and if it wasn't 7 degrees outside.
