WTB windshield with HUD

looking for a windshield in excellent condition with the HUD glass...I know it's rare but....... Im in NY (LI) so local pickup is a must, thanks

i assure you anyone with that part is gonna charge you a really stupid price for it. so save the long wait it will take to appear here (if it ever does) and just apply tint to the portion of the windshield where the display is projected.

You got me a month too late. It is indeed a rare piece, the guy I sold it to drove from Boston to pick it up.

I was told by someone on craigslist who was selling a DD Maxima, that when she had to replace her windshield, the price was $3k. Sounded rediculous to me, I tried to explain to her that the specific windshield wasn't required, but she wouldn't budge. She thought that the display was built into the windshield

ha...yeah I had mine replaced with a regular one a few years ago and i put a piece of tint there...i just miss the original and want to know if anyone has one out there

also just out of curiosity, I have a hud unit that I haven't installed yet, and what tha freek is a hud windshield??? does this thing even work without the special windshields?

yes it works fine w/o the windshield... that windshield was designed specifically for it however...
