fs vg/se manual transmission (only) 89-91

I have a manual tranny for 89 to 91 gxe or se sitting in my backyard. Will not last. For a limited time I'll take $175.00 for it picked up.

Well you're right, it won't last long if it's sitting in your backyard. Either the internals are going to rust out from rain getting inside, or someone's gonna steal it.

It's covered up. I'm no dummy. It's never been rained on. If someone steals it and gets away I'll call him back give him some more parts. My house is equipt w/the v/latest in security and surveillance.

Would you consider shipping it to 30011?

I think the easy and cheapest way to ship it would be on the Grey Hound or Trailways whatever is smoking down your way. If your pick up the shipping I'll ship it where ever you want it.

I'd buy it without hesitation if I didn't know from recent personal experience that shipping is gonna cost as much (if not more) than what you're wanting for the tranny.

Good luck with the sale, though.

Check out the prices at Greyhound might not be that bad. Ask them if it the weight or the size that they charge by. I shipped a set of someone sent me some rims from N.C. once and didn't complain about the shipping. I suspect it's gone up since then however.

yeah, I checked on shipping it with a freight company. Putting it on a pallet so a forklift can easily load it on/off a truck. I was quoted $250.
Does Greyhound ship things like that? I thought it was just for people. I'll call them.
BTW, about how much does a transmission weigh?
