EVERYTHING MUST GO!!!

the day after halloween i wrecked my max. it was depressing yes, but it was time for a change anyway. i see it more as a blessing than anything because 2 days later i was able to get a 92 3000gt.

anyway, in order to get my money's worth out of the car i'm going to be parting it out and selling it piece by piece. and i mean EVERY piece. so if you need ANYTHING for your 3rd gen, get it here for cheap.

as far as i know, other than the direct damage from the crash it had a bent passenger side cv axle, shot transmission (go figure), and possible (and now more than likely) a bent passenger side front strut.

upgrades that i had were a stillen front strut brace which should still be intact, tokico blues (-1), and a red suspension techniques rear sway bar.

heres some pics of the damage from the crash, everything else is in very good condition, just a little dirty.

i have the vg. im not sure specifically what injectors they have in them but i can find out tomorrow hopefully.

as for the strut bar, i bought it from stillen for $180, so the least i want to charge for it is $100. however, ive already had like 5 or 6 requests for it since monday. so ill do this the fair way. a bid.

not on ebay, right here, on the org. bidding will start at $100. ill let it go for a week. next wednesday at noon the highest bidder will be the new owner. then the winner and i will discuss shipping prices and all that crap through pm.

ill try to get the hood open to get a pic of it as it sits before the weekend.

also, dont forget, 3 good tokico blues. the front passenger side is most likely bent but thats ok, because you can buy them individually from stillen and also a rear swaybar by suspension techniques

in other news, i forgot to mention i have a completely spare vg that i will need to get out of my schools storage before the end of summer. i was planning on rebuilding it for class but wrecked my car before the class started so it just stayed there. not sure if it needs rebuilding or not. definitely will need to be cleaned out like a chinese hooker though.

UPDATE!!!

it lives!! so i got the hood open this morning and jumped the battery to put it in neutral. i turned the key just to see what happened and it actually turned over! i was shocked as well as disappointed. after all, the main reason im parting it out instead of fixing it is because i thought it didnt run.

on the bright side, i now have a working engine as well as one that may or may not run for sale. also, a slipping transmission as well as a rebuilt one.

the strut bar is still in good shape, doesnt look bent or anything

ill get some interior pics this afternoon

Keyless entry control module

How much for the sway bar and strut tower bar? I'm in Houston so maybe I can get it from you without having to deal with shipping.

Those seats don't need a steam cleaning, they need to be burned.

Would possibly need the Drop Resistor for the Line pressure Solenoid Valve circuit. It is located under the air filter box and is about 6" x 1" x 1" metal box with two wires coming out of it. Will take a pic of mine if you need it.

I think this is possibly my problem with my tranny at the moment after doing the self-diag for the TCU. Still have to do some tests but I think this is the culprit.

Also shipping to Canada? This would probably fit in an envelope so I'm guessing this shouldn't be a problem for you.

I don't know if you are certain that this part is giving you trouble, but there is a valuable resource here if you think so. It describes, among other things, how to modify the circuit with another resistor to revive normal functionality of your tranny. This only works if your 1 to 2nd gear shift is too soft, but this is better explained in the link. I will have this part laying around when i do my swap, if the OP isn't able to give you his............ Sorry to hijack!

I have check the ohms on it, and got 12.6 Ohms. It is in spec but the resistor is pretty beat up by corrosion so it would probably not be a bad idea to change it anyway.

I haven't searched too much the circuit since it's pretty cold out here, but tomorrow I'm going to a friends garage and will look it over carefully.

I'm afraid its the line pressure solenoid valve itself that is bad, don't know how hard it would be to change it. I heard there was an aftermarket kit for the tranny that ran about 150$

looking for these:

- rear suspension adjustable parallel link, both of them, 1 each side

- these 2 bolts that hold the front of the engine crossmember to the frame, so long as the threads on yours are in good shape which is why i want to replace mine - if you care you could swap your bolts out for any 12mmx1.25 bolt + washers just to keep your engine from falling out

let me know, thanks

How do the rear lights look? LH+Center+RH.
Any chance of shipping to Europe, and I'd appreciate a picture of all 3.
