I have an auto transmission from a 91 GXE. While the car has high miles the transmission was replaced within the past year before the car was totaled. Car belonged to a girl I knew so I don't have the details or paperwork with actual millage on the transmission though I was told by her mechanic it was a lower millage transmission. I drove the car almost 10 miles before parking it and pulling the transmission out, and it shifts smooth and the car felt very responsive to any movement of the pedal. Based on prices in junkyards a high mileage transmission runs $300, most with other problems and a low mileage transmission runs upwards of $1100. Knowing this is a good transmission, and knowing it's not a high mileage one, but not having anything to document this I feel $350 is a more than fair price. I am selling it in the price range of a high mileage transmission as I don't have the paperwork to prove it's low miles.
