Been in the market looking for 5 speed swap parts. Can't seem to find much on the 3rd gen Maximas so I figured I would at least ask and see if anyone still has any parts lying around.

Car is a 1990 Maxima SE with the VG30 Sohc engine if that helps anyone.

 

Bump. Does anyone have anything that I can use to get this swap rolling? It's hard to find parts around here.

 

The se was a dohc. Did someone do a swap for the VG

 

Car is a one owner vehicle & has stayed in the family since. Transmission has been acting up and I've been searching for 5 speed swap parts. This is a true SE that has the VG SOHC engine in it. Never been swapped.

 

89-91 SEs have the VG. The VE wasn't introduced until 92 model years.

skaterdudz02 if you see a VE with a manual trans, take that as it has a VLSD. You will need to swap the axles and hubs as well though.
