As parts become scarce, its how to find these anymore. So looking for a working/good condition used VE30DE alternator. Unless someone knows a place reasonably can rebuild these. thanks

 

Just rebuild it yourself. It should be only the diodes or voltage regulator. For $175 plus core, that's what I'd do.

 

thanks for the advice, will keep that in mind next time! I end up getting a new/rebuild from an auto parts store.

 

Kind of flip flopping here, but that's a good buy. I'm sure it's got a lifetime warranty and all you had to do was install it. $175 isn't the end of the world. I paid about the same for a new steering rack. Simple matter of bolting it up.
