My friend is a member of that same sort of thing. Were gonna go check it out in a couple of weeks. I hear that you can get some sweet sh** at some of the auctions for cheap. But I'm sure that most of it is junk. If I can get a $10,000 car for $500 when I go, I'll deffinitely be at the bank emptying my account.haha

you konw whats funny, i just heard about that the other day from this girl in my class. she said they barely ever go above $1k on any car there, new or old. she said they sold a hummer for like 700 bucks! i dunno anything about it, but if thats true that is the ultimate way to buy a car!

be weary of these auctions

yeah the cars a cheap, but many times they are dammaged. If they have been seized in a raid the interiors have been stripped and just thrown back into the cabin. Many times there is other dammage that you can't see. Also something funky happens with the title after it has been seized by good old uncle sam.

yeah you could find a good deal on something nice, but who knows how the car was treated...

Shouldn't a US Government site have a .gov at the end instead of a .com? I have definetly heard of these auctions, but I dunno... maybe just a good cover for a bad used car salesperson or scam artist or something.
