need some help

need some help

I just painted my car and some of the clear seeped through the paper and overprayed on my chrome wheels.Does anyone have any suggestions on how it get it off without damageing the rim?I was thinkin double zero steel wool.

NO dont use anything that would scratch I know 00 is not too bad but it will still scratch chrome. Since they are chrome they aren't affected by solvents so just get some thinner and take it off.

hey thanks alot man .I was tihnkin bout using laquer thinner but i wasnt sure if i wouldnt take away the shine.

as long as they are chrome and not polished al. then you will be fine but test a small section first to make sure. I used thinner on some old chrome wheels I had a long time ago without any problems
