Fitz - i used WD40 and a rag to clean and a light mist of WD40 for shine

trust me...do the springs/struts at the same time...it will save you time and headache

have fun on the back man! If you like a challenge, do the springs and struts on different times. But if you are sane, do them at the same time. Did I mention to have fun doing the back?
