One final time. I am the guy who had the engine with the intermittent problem with running overly rich and missing badly when the weather was wet. As I said before I replaced the O2 sensor which cleaned up the problem. I did have another code show up and it indicated the air flow sensor was faulty. My engine ran O.K., but not like I was accustomed to and the engine just didn't sound like it should. So I replaced the air flow sensor and, boy! the difference in performance. The old sensor was corrided very badly. I think it is because I live right on the ocean and the salt air raises hell with everything. If anyone has my problem of running fat and missing badly intermittently have them also check the Air Flow sensor. JWD

glad you found the problem! the failed MAF thing doesn't surprise me at all with the salty air over there.. those little guys are extremely sensitive, and anything like that can cause them to go bad.. dump $300. ouch!
