Ball joint loose, LCA bushings need replacing too?
So my Max has some weird vibration when I hit right turns hard. I thought it was because of the recently replaced CV joint, but yesterday I went back to the place that installed them and on the lift, they showed me the ball joint on the tire where the CV joint was replaced was loose by shaking the entire wheel. The wheel across from it didn't budge, so I believe them.
But then they showed me the bushings on the LCAs were looking fairly worn. My question is this: I know I need a new ball joint, but do I need to replace those bushings also? They suggested both and an alignment but I'd rather just do the joint if possible.

Yup, sadly the LCA bushings wear out quite consistently in these cars. I swapped in a whole new LCA because my passenger side bushing was shot. Got rid of a vibration at highway speeds (90mph for me). Wasn't too hard to remove but I had to burn the rear bushing out since it was seized up. Propane torch to the rescue! Get you ball joints replaced ASAP. Don't wanna mess around with them!
