CV Joints

My left CV Joint keeps coming out of the tranny and leaking gear oil. I know there's a little ring to keep it in, right? Can I buy just that ring?

Is there a seal there as well? Can I replace it?

yup, seal is replaceable there. I highly suggest going to a dealer, as they're the only place that's been able to get me the right seal on my car the first shot (ordered THREE seals from Oreillys for mine last week and they never got it right).

should also be able to buy the ring there too, but I'm not sure. if not, check a local tranny/ CV shop. there are several CV rebuilders locally, so I'm sure you can find one in big D.
