testing vtc from ecm
i know i know.... i should get a fsm... mine is being ordered and on it's way.... i have a haynes but it doesn't tell you anything about vtcs.
but i'm impatient and the lady friend is away so i can work on the car all i want...
how do you test the vtcs from the ecm? mine are not ticking but i don't feel that surge above ~3200 rpm that everybody is talking about. i just recently fixed my power valve control (VI) and it helped a bit but i don't feel that "kick in the ***" like many talk about. thanks!

There's a bunch of tests to run, but you need the picture of the ECM connector to get the right terminal (#113). I've been thinking of doing this, too, so if you want I can probably send you PDF's of the pages you need. Lemme know, OK?
