Grounding VTC's

Who has done this procedure? And how long have you had it? I am a 4th gen owner, but I'm looking at picking up a 3rd gen in the near future. Just trying to figure out which to get VE(known for problem with VTC) or VG (known for broken exhaust studs).

Check Craig's website for info on grounding the VTC's bro. Otherwise someone's gonna flame ya for asking.

i'd get the VE if i were you. 30 more ponies... vtcs can be quieted at the expense of some low end power (loss). you won't lose 30 HP though from grounding the vtcs. (i think brian h said it was -12 HP). look for a 5-speed too! they're much quicker. i switched from auto to 5-speed. it's ridiculous how much quicker the 5-speed is (thanks to the variable intake and extra gear of course). good condition ve 5-speeds are pretty rare. took me 3 months to find mine. good luck.

btw, i'm selling my auto if you're interested.

grounding vtc's made my car much slower...I think I run high 15s now. It's so bad that my gf's 95 Altima 5sp can keep up with me.
