wheel offset

wheel offset

offset is +40mm, wheel is 7.5 wide 18 inch, will i need spacers?

Why don't you do a test fit and see?

The fronts will not need spacers, the rear will proablby not, but it also depends on how wide the tires are.

While we're on the subject...

I read a recent post regarding the wheel offset. I was interested in purchasing a set of wheels from RyRy that he was advertising in the classifieds, when someone (sorry if I forgot your callsign) mentioned that the offset for those wheels (48, I believe) was too high for the Maxima (38-45 I believe is the range he gave).

Since I'm not all that familiar with the effects of the wheel offset, could someone explain it to me?
