Speaker Dimensions

I'm trying to install a pioneer system in my car and I've searched the web for the list of speaker sizes for my 93 Nissan Maxima GXE. The websites I found stated that my rear deck speakers are 6 x 9" and my front speakers are 4 x6". I bought the pioneer speakers but they do not fit. Is the problem just the speakers or are these the wrong dimensions?

I don't remember them off the top of my head, but have you checked with Crutchfield? That's where you'll DEFINITELY find it. Either that, or someone's gonna give you (read - FLAME) the method of finding the info.

I'd save yourself the headache and opt for the first option.

5 1/4" circle speakers fit the mounts for the front Bose speakers really well, I've got 5 1/4" MB Quarts in there right now didn't have to make any modifications at all. And Crutchfield also sells lots of adapater panel things, i.e. a 6x9 plate you can mount in the rear to fit 6 1/4" circle speaker instead. That might help if you already bought nice speakers that don't fit.
