Was a stealth box ever made for the 3rd gen. I realize that the 4th gen guys have a JL stealth box with 10" woofer. I'm trying to figure out which way to go with my audio mods. Not trying to acheive a competition sound, but need a quality sound set-up. I'm at the point where I need to decide, so I'm kinda partial to the JL box with one 12"

If u dont mind loosing trunk space, 2 midrange brand 12's sounds good. I have 2 Kenwood subs in a sealed box with about 100rms to each..is really tight bass and hits low..could be louder but im not going for competition
Duno about the stealthbox for 3rdgens tho

That's my main concern

I need as much trunk space as possible (family) I wonder how different the inner trunk design between the 3rd and 4th gen. Those guys have a 10" stealth box with 10W6 JL speaker that could handle up to 300W

if they dont make a stealthbox for the 3rdgen, then u could 1)make a sub enclosure out of the spare tire well(but you'll lose your spare) or get a small-box sub (like maybe one of the Kicker L7 square subs) and stick it in a corner in the trunk and run lots-o-power to it. that would proly work good.

I'm a family man

At times my wife and I switch cars, and she doesn't need a 40-60lb box to lift up to get to a spare that needs to be there in case she gets a flat. So knowing this, no sub enclosure can be fabricated out of the spare tire well in my case.
